Kortejler, halaylar, omuz ba\u015flar\u0131yd\u0131, ta\u015flar\u0131 ve kara asfalt\u0131 meydan yapan. Toplumsal direni\u015fin ve m\u00fccadelenin bizzat kendisi, kamusal mekan\u0131 ve bu anlamda meydan\u0131 in\u015fa etti. Meydanlar\u0131, Belediye Meclisleri de\u011fil, meydanlar\u0131 asfalt ve peyzaj \u015firketleri de\u011fil, meydanlar\u0131 emek\u00e7i halklar\u0131n teri in\u015fa etti.<\/p>\n<p>Demokrasi bizim i\u00e7in bir trendi ve varaca\u011f\u0131m\u0131z dura\u011fa geldi\u011fimizde inecek miydik?. Varaca\u011f\u0131m\u0131z dura\u011fa h\u0131zl\u0131 girmek i\u00e7in de bir h\u0131zl\u0131 tren projesi ile beslemi\u015ftik olan\u0131 biteni. Ankara Gar\u0131\u2019n\u0131n hemen i\u00e7ine 2006 y\u0131l\u0131nda h\u0131zl\u0131 tren gar\u0131 planlanmaya ba\u015flad\u0131. H\u0131zl\u0131 trenin ihtiya\u00e7lar\u0131n\u0131 gerek\u00e7e g\u00f6stererek de Gar ve Gen\u00e7lik Park\u0131 \u00f6n\u00fcndeki geni\u015f meydana bir batt\u0131-\u00e7\u0131kt\u0131 katl\u0131 kav\u015fak karar\u0131 ald\u0131 Ankara B\u00fcy\u00fck\u015fehir Belediyesi. O d\u00f6nem, Akara Gar alan\u0131n meydan oldu\u011funu ileri s\u00fcrm\u00fc\u015f ve meydan\u0131n g\u00f6be\u011fine katl\u0131 kav\u015fak karar\u0131na davalar a\u00e7m\u0131\u015ft\u0131k. \u00dc\u00e7 a\u015fa\u011f\u0131 be\u015f yukar\u0131 \u015fuydu derdimiz: Ankara Gar\u0131, 1937 y\u0131l\u0131nda hizmete a\u00e7\u0131ld\u0131\u011f\u0131nda, Jansen taraf\u0131ndan Ankara i\u00e7in yap\u0131lan planda k\u0131r\u0131 ve kenti birbirine ba\u011flayan bir aks\u0131 temsil ediyordu. Gar Gazinosu\u2019nun biti\u015fi\u011fe yap\u0131lan saat kulesi de modern Ankara\u2019n\u0131n s\u0131rt\u0131n\u0131 tarihi kent merkezine yasl\u0131yor, kaleyi siluetine al\u0131yor ve \u00f6n\u00fcnden ge\u00e7en raylarla Orman \u00c7iftli\u011fini selamlayarak gelece\u011fe ak\u0131yordu.<\/p>\n<p>Gar Meydan\u0131\u2019n\u0131 tan\u0131mlayan Saat Kulesi\u2019nin tepesinden de Ankara, ge\u00e7mi\u015fi, gelene\u011fi, k\u00fclt\u00fcr\u00fcyle modern ve gen\u00e7 cumhuriyet mekan\u0131n\u0131n ifadesi ve \u00e7izgisel zaman\u0131n nirengisiydi. Tar\u0131msal kalk\u0131nmay\u0131, sanayiye ta\u015f\u0131yan bir uygarl\u0131k motifinin resmini \u00e7iziyordu bu meydan. Demiryollar\u0131n\u0131 yapan i\u015f\u00e7iler, k\u00f6yl\u00fcler, sanayi toplumuna gidecek sanayiciler, b\u00fcrokratlar ve t\u00fcm milli de\u011ferlerle \u201cimtiyazs\u0131z, ayr\u0131cal\u0131ks\u0131z\u201d T\u00fcrk ulusunun k\u00f6\u015fe ta\u015flar\u0131 olacakt\u0131. Bu yukardan a\u015fa\u011f\u0131ya uygarla\u015fma motifinin meydan\u0131yd\u0131 Ankara Gar\u0131.<br \/>\nY\u00fczlerce i\u015f\u00e7inin dokudu\u011fu bu meydan\u0131, katl\u0131 kav\u015fak karar\u0131yla tarumar etmeye ba\u015flad\u0131klar\u0131nda, Cumhuriyet\u2019in mek\u00e2nsal kurucu diliyle de bir hesapla\u015fma i\u00e7ine girdiklerini a\u00e7\u0131k\u00e7a s\u00f6yl\u00fcyordu iktidar\u0131n yeni sahipleri. Lakin, cumhuriyetin bu egemen-tek\u00e7i dili payidar kald\u0131, \u0130slamc\u0131 motiflerle ref\u00fcj aralar\u0131na ta\u015f\u0131nd\u0131 ve fakat bu tek\u00e7i dilin temsil etti\u011fi s\u00f6ylenen mekanlar teker teker y\u0131k\u0131ld\u0131, yol yap\u0131ld\u0131.O nedenle \u201cGar Meydan\u0131\u201d iddialar\u0131m\u0131z\u0131 reddediyorlard\u0131. Neticede jakoben ve burjuva karakteri \u00f6n planda olan bir anlay\u0131\u015fla Cumhuriyet rejiminin y\u00fczlerce i\u015f\u00e7inin eme\u011fiyle in\u015fa etti\u011fi meydan, 2007 y\u0131l\u0131nda y\u0131k\u0131lm\u0131\u015f, katl\u0131 kav\u015fak haline gelmi\u015fti.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Meydanlar\u0131 kurmak<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Cumhuriyet ideolojisinin temsil mekanlar\u0131n\u0131n tek tek yol haline getirilmesi, sembolik ve ger\u00e7ek bir ideolojik sava\u015f\u0131n \u00fcr\u00fcn\u00fcyd\u00fc. Egemen s\u0131n\u0131flar\u0131n meydan yaratmas\u0131n\u0131n art\u0131k olana\u011f\u0131 yoktu. Meydanlar, y\u00f6netenlerin varl\u0131k sebebine ayk\u0131r\u0131yd\u0131. Hijyen ve Hitit Heykeliyle tan\u0131ml\u0131 S\u0131hhiye Meydan\u0131 nas\u0131l ki, emek\u00e7i s\u0131n\u0131flar\u0131n m\u00fccadelesi ve eylemlerinin oldu\u011fu g\u00fcnlerde bir otoban olmaktan ve iktidar\u0131n egemenlik alan\u0131ndan \u00e7\u0131k\u0131yor, ona ba\u011flanan sokaklar\u0131 \u00f6zg\u00fcrle\u015ftiriyor, insana, hayvana, hayata dair mekanlar haline geliyorsa; Ankara Gar alan\u0131 da b\u00f6yleydi. Art\u0131k, Cumhuriyet taraf\u0131ndan tan\u0131mlanm\u0131\u015f bir meydandan bahsetmek m\u00fcmk\u00fcn de\u011fildi. Ankara Gar \u00f6n\u00fcn\u00fc \u201cmeydana getiren\u201d ona anlam katan i\u015f\u00e7i ve emek\u00e7ilerin bir araya, g\u00f6z g\u00f6ze, omuz omuza gelmesiydi. Kimse o g\u00fcnler d\u0131\u015f\u0131nda, y\u00fcz y\u00fcze gelmezdi bu yolda..<\/p>\n<p><strong>Meydana gelmek<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>10 Ekim 2015 g\u00fcn\u00fc Gar Meydan\u0131\u2019n\u0131 kuranlar kimlerdi? Kimler meydana getirdi o ta\u015ftan topraktan bar\u0131\u015f\u0131, eme\u011fi ve demokrasiyi. Kimleri vurdular sahiden, kimlerin \u00fczerine bomba att\u0131lar? Tahminimi s\u00f6ylemem gerekirse, Sokrates\u2019ti bir k\u0131sm\u0131, bir k\u0131sm\u0131 ibn-i Haldun, ileri de bir ka\u00e7\u0131 Hacivat, Karag\u00f6z, \u015eurada beride duran Vedat, Hac\u0131, Ekin.. D\u00fcn\u00fc getirdiler, gelece\u011fi elleriyle yapt\u0131lar.. Meydana gelenlerdi onlar, meydana getirenler.. Bu saat kulesinin \u00f6n\u00fcnde akrep yelkovan\u0131n\u0131 soktu neticede. Meydan kurmak isteyenler bombaland\u0131. Lakin meydan yine de kuruldu. \u201c\u015eimdiyi\u201d Ankara Gar Meydan\u0131\u2019n\u0131 kuranlar\u0131 unutturmak, meydan\u0131 tarihinden silmek ve s\u0131rt\u0131n\u0131 yaslad\u0131\u011f\u0131 demirden, \u00e7elikten, terden, \u00f6l\u00fcmlerden kopartmak i\u00e7in \u201cbo\u015f bir levha\u201d ismiyle donat\u0131yorlar. Ankara Gar Meydan\u0131\u2019n\u0131 y\u00fcz y\u00fcze bakt\u0131klar\u0131m\u0131z kurdu oysa, inecekleri dura\u011fa isim se\u00e7enler, ge\u00e7mi\u015fi silmek i\u00e7in Demokrasi Meydan\u0131 ad\u0131n\u0131 verenler de\u011fil..
